Green tea contains components that assist in fat burning.

The tea has a high content of antioxidants known as polyphenols, also called flavonoids.

Studies indicate a link between the consumption of these antioxidants and a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, stroke, arthritis, cataracts, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's.

Research further suggests that the antioxidants in green tea are more effective than those found in black tea.

Minerals

The tea contains minerals essential for bodily functions, such as: potassium, manganese, calcium, and zinc.

Potassium: Helps maintain a normal heart rate, supports proper nerve and muscle function, and assists in fluid exchange within the body's cells.

Calcium and Manganese: Essential for building bones and tissues in the body.

Zinc: Aids in the production of proteins and nucleic acids.

Vitamins

The tea contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, and folic acid.

Vitamin A: Essential for eye function and strengthens bones and teeth.

B Vitamins: Vital for the body's metabolism, helping convert food into energy and supporting cell regeneration.

Vitamin C: Strengthens the immune system.

Folic Acid: Essential for the production of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) and for cell division.

Recommendations:

It is recommended to drink up to 3 cups of green tea per day.

It can be consumed either hot or cold.
